I have a passion for business and farming. I believe that we are building a new ag industry in Florida but that there is work to do. My career has been primarily in commodities (Morgan Stanley) as a specialist in the orange juice industry. I have worked both with OnlyMoso as a Territory Manager and marketer of the Shoots, as well as with Greenfield Bamboo in developing bamboo farms.

I’m a life long resident of Polk County. I’ve owned several businesses over the years. However, my principal occupation was a financial advisor. I am 64 years old and am semi-retired. I have a BS in Geology from Oklahoma State University and an MBA from the University of Texas. I worked as a Controller for ExxonMobil for 24 years, mainly as the Project Controller of several multi-billion dollar projects across the globe. I am business oriented and that’s how I approach my investments as a bamboo farmer.
