What is the Florida Bamboo Growers Association?
FBGA is a nonprofit independent industry association representing bamboo farmers, allied businesses, and researchers in the state of Florida. Founded to build a healthy, competitive domestic bamboo industry, the FBGA provides its members with agronomic research, market development, government program access, and a professional community. Florida’s subtropical climate makes it one of the most promising regions in the United States for commercial bamboo farming, particularly for the edible shoot market currently dominated by Asian imports.
