Production Statistics and Forecast
The Florida bamboo farming industry has had three seasons of harvesting Bamboo Shoots but no harvesting yet on culms for wood. Data from these first three harvest seasons is as follows:

The 2023 harvest is our opportunity to do a complete harvest (harvest consistently each week during the roughly 6-month season) and include all of the farms with maturity to harvest. Based on this it is currently estimated that this will include 160-210 acres and about 25 farms. The expected quantity of shoots is over 200,000 pounds.
